Area development in Hoofddorp
Hyde Park is a large-scale area development in Hoofddorp, part of the Amsterdam metropolitan region. The project transforms a former office area into a lively, urban residential area with excellent connections to Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. The site offers a balance between urban dynamics and green recreation. Rockfield played a key role in developing the urban plan, which envisages the realisation of about 3,800 homes. Hyde Park is designed as a mixed-use urban district, where living, working and recreation come together in a dynamic, urban environment. The initial urban plan and the development of the residential blocks provided a solid foundation, after which further implementation was handed over to a new party that will continue to develop the neighbourhood according to the original vision.
