The 7EVEN residential complex is located in the Delflandplein neighbourhood, in the heart of Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This neighbourhood is undergoing a major transformation and is part of the larger project Lieven, which aims to develop this area into a lively and attractive residential environment. Thanks to its proximity to major access roads such as the A10 motorway and good public transport connections, 7EVEN is easily accessible, both for work in the city centre and for trips to Schiphol Airport. The area offers plenty of greenery and modern urban amenities, making it an ideal place for young professionals and starters.

Living

7even offers 90 modern freehold rental appartments aimed at starters and young professionals. The properties range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom appartements, with the larger units featuring private outdoor space. The smaller units make use of the collective courtyard garden, which provides a pleasant place for relaxation and social interaction. The flats are spread over seven floors, providing variety in the streetscape and a diverse housing offer.

Sustainability

Sustainability is at the heart of 7even’s design. The building uses an advanced heat and cold storage system, as well as solar panels on the roofs. This ensures that the building’s energy performance coefficient (EPC) is just 0.2, meaning the project is exceptionally energy efficient. The facades on the noise-sensitive east and south sides are equipped with double-glazing to ensure both thermal comfort and sound insulation, without compromising on living comfort.

Living concept

Although 7EVEN, in management does not have an actively managed housing concept, the design does promote ‘community living’. The communal courtyard garden is accessible to both residents and local residents and provides space for social interaction. There are also communal washing and drying facilities and a smart package box, such as underground parking. The project contributes to a dynamic living environment where meeting is key.
