Residential building LUX consists of two ‘stepped’ building blocks separated by a common courtyard. The eastern block has a stepped volume with 8 layers on the south side rising to 17 layers on the noise-exposed north side. This gives the building a powerful and unique identity, fitting in with the parcelled layout along Philitelaan. A soundproofed and sheltered roof landscape is created and sunlight penetrates deep into the Patiohof. LUX offers 200 high-quality rental flats spread over 17 floors. The tower has a wide range of housing types, from compact studios to spacious FRIENDS apartments multiple bedrooms. LUX also contains a number of ‘Friends flats’. In these, tenants have their own bedroom, shower and toilet, but share the living room and kitchen with a housemate. All residences are designed with a focus on comfort and modern lifestyle. High-quality finishes and the integration of smart technologies make the flats suitable for the modern city resident.

Sustainability

Sustainability plays a central role in the design and construction of the LUX Tower. The building features energy-efficient installations and uses renewable energy sources. The façade is designed to provide optimal light and thermal performance, while integrated green spaces contribute to a healthy living environment. The project meets the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency, helping to minimise its ecological footprint.

Living concept

Residents are encouraged to participate in an active and engaged community life. The The Cohesion residential concept completes the imposing building by adding a communal ‘co-working’ area where tenants can work and meet. It also hosts a wide range of activities, ranging from workshops and networking meetings to sports events and cultural outings. A large communal terrace in the sun is located on the 7th floor. Here, residents can meet each other and activities can be organised. An important part of this residential concept is the presence of a community manager, who is responsible for supporting the residents and organising the various activities.
